ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
These products are accessories for the Bed Side Helper (sold separately), which is used to assist people when getting in and out of bed. It also reminds where the edge of the mattress is and helps prevent rolling out of bed.

Security Strap with Loop | Provides additional support if a person moves frequently in bed and comes into contact with the Bed Side Helper using their arms or legs. The Security Strap attaches to the Helper, and the Loop is secured to the bed frame on the opposite side. |

Security Strap with Disc | Provides additional support for ensemble-style beds that do not have rigid frame rails. The plastic Disc is placed between the mattress and base to act as an anchor. |

Floor Extension | When the Bed Side Helper is used with a soft ensemble-style base, it may press into the base when weight is applied. To prevent this, the Floor Extension is fastened to the Bed Side Helper, with the bottom of the Extension resting on the floor. |
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
These accessories are suitable for people who use the Pelican Bed Side Helper.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Security Straps: First, pass the yellow Security Strap through the slot on the Helper’s mattress board. Position the Helper on the side of the bed, then adjust the male buckle to connect to the Loop or Disc on the opposite side. Place the Helper under the mattress and tighten the strap securely.
Floor Extension: The Extension has three strips of heavy-duty hook & loop tape attached. Remove the adhesive backing from the loop tape and affix it to the three marked positions on the bottom of the Helper’s side board.
