ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Soft CVA Arm Cushion is designed to hold subluxed arms. Its soft, moisture wicking cover and Hollow-Core Polyester Fiber filling make it comfortable for a patient’s arm and hand. There are two elasticized loops are sewn into the Cushion in case it is necessary to tie it to a chair.

When ordering the Complete Product, we recommend you purchase at least one additional Cover. This way, you can regularly remove and wash the outer Cover only, and not the Complete Product, unless it needs washing.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
The Soft CVA Arm Cushion is suitable for individuals recovering from a stroke. It is designed to provide support and comfort for those experiencing weakness or paralysis in one arm, helping to reduce the risk of pressure sores and improve posture. This Cushion is especially beneficial for patients undergoing rehabilitation, as it promotes proper positioning and alignment, aiding in overall recovery and enhancing daily comfort during activities like sitting or resting.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
A Therapist or experienced carer should position the Soft CVA Arm Cushion. They may rearrange, add, or remove filling to suit individual patients. It is possible to create a channel to place the arm in, but still have the hand raised higher.
PRODUCT MATERIALS
The Cushion cover is made out of a soft white, four-way stretch Material that wicks perspiration away from the body. A black zip is sewn onto the white Material. By having a contrasting colored zip, it is easier to make sure the patient’s skin is not resting on the zip.
WARNING
Sometimes, due to the patient deteriorating, the product may become unsuitable. Continuous monitoring is necessary and alternative products may be recommended.
